The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) has 17 core faculty members with key relationships and funding from groups such as the National Science Foundation, the Houston Endowment, the Port of Houston Authority, the General Land Office, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Texas Medical Center.
The department also has a network of Professors in the Practice, Lecturers and Adjunct Professors who greatly contribute to CEE. This network adds value to the department with additional key areas of expertise, as well as collaborations and opportunities to train the next generation of civil and environmental engineering professionals.
